Omni-Transfer Guide

How It Works

Omni-Transfer is a fast, direct file sharing tool built for one-to-one peer-to-peer sessions. Start a quick session to generate a one-time UUID, or connect directly to a saved contact. Files stream directly device-to-device without touching your server.

Safety Guarantee

We use a direct, encrypted connection. Your files are NEVER stored on any server. During an active transfer the session is locked so both sides stay synchronized. Declining a transfer simply declines it.

Quick Sessions: Generate a one-time code for a direct one-to-one transfer.
Saved Contacts: Once connected, you can save the other person for faster direct reconnection later.
Streaming Transfer: Files are read and sent in chunks so large transfers do not require whole-file memory loads.
Batch Sending: Choose multiple files. On supported browsers, receivers can select a folder once and the batch streams straight to disk.

Technical Tips

For very large files, the receiver should use a browser that supports direct file saving such as desktop Chrome or Edge. Browsers without direct save support may fall back to in-memory saving for small files only.
